I spent some time on this phone, but I decided to give it up. This is just a continuation of the style of last week's phone model, but I always had a feeling that something was wrong, and after thinking about it I realized that it was because there was still a need for uniformity in style when it came to mixed media. If I use products from different eras in reality as a reference and use them directly, I believe they will be ugly in a single film, without aesthetic consideration. My answer is that I refer all electronic design to cyberpunk, or I don't know exactly how to explain it, but it is a kind of design that is not in line with practical purposes, it is both technological and retro. I made the following initial four designs and started building new models. I think I still have some designs that don't have a clear visual image, but I have an idea. For example, the main meta-universe scene, I have been troubled by this part, because it is still just a concept, there is no clear mainstream style on the market, I can think of only the one made by Zuckerberg, but it is not successful. I guess I got stuck with those unsuccessful references and wanted to build my own world. I really like the retro aesthetic. I think the next week will take a lot of time on the sets and props, and if they are completed, it will be more than half of the preparation. At present, I have planned to unify the style of props to help me complete the scene construction, and combine plants and machinery. Besides, I have studied some art history, and I want to take Dada and Surrealism as the ideological guidance to create the meta-universe aesthetics of this short film.
